Aids Care

The 5 Day Ride

The AIDS Red Ribbon Ride 5 Day Ride is a fully supported 420 mile bike ride starting and finishing in Rochester, NY taking place August 18 - 22, 2010. All you have to do is pedal, we'll take care of the rest. This route throughout the 8 County Finger Lakes Region represents the area in which AIDS Care provides programs and services.

You'll ride your bike all day, and we'll camp together at night. We'll provide a hot breakfast and dinner in camp and lunch out on the route. There will be rest stops every 15 - 25 miles to refuel your body, fill your water bottles, and should you need it, provide repair for your bicycle or medical care. Once you arrive in camp each day, hot showers, massage, sleeping tents, medical care and bike techs will be available to keep you and your bike in peak condition!

On the final day of the ride the route will merge with the 1 Day AIDS Red Ribbon Ride and everyone will finish together and take a victory parade lap in Genesee Valley Park followed by dinner and festivities.
